a day in the life of jason mraz

a lot of people ask me what i wanna be when i grow up.

and a lot of times i tell them: i dunno.


you know why?

its not because i have no ambition in mind, mind you.

for your info i have too many ambitions in mind.
(coz too much talent liao? LOL)



as i'm not bad in sports namely football,

i've always wanted to be a footballer.






as i'm quite okay at playing the violin

i've contemplated taking up the profession of a violinist.






as i'm competent in the piano,

i've considered being a pianist.

as i like playing the guitar,

i've wanted to be the lead guitarist of a rocker band.

as i'm good at crapping,

i've thought of being a lawyer.

(no offense to my lawyer readers xp)

therefore, its important for me to try new things to discover/rediscover my talents. （hao lian)

this is why i joined Nan Chiau High School Talent Quest 2009
together with my classmate, Jun Wei.

first, there're the auditions. we got through pretty easily.

then, there's the semi final.
things were starting to get harder when we competed with worthy, talented competitors.


we worked harder than before,

with the school toilet as our jamming studio.


rockers in a toilet. LOL

so if you hear music coming from the toilet, don't feel surprised ya~
haha


nevertheless,

with jun wei's mesmerizing vocals and my outstanding guitar skills, (hao lian again xd)
we cruised through the semis. hhaha

finally... the finals.

quite nerve wracking, considering that we had the whole school as my audience.

survived the final,

getting 2nd runner up with "I'm Yours" by jason mraz.

(warning: ending part of performance is not for the faint-hearted.)

didn't get champion but nvm.

its the experience that matters, right?

got to know another group called 'BHMW' with their members
wei qi (guitar), mubin (guitar) and another girl singer (forgot her name, paise)

yuan lai the group also interested in being rockers.

so we formed a band called my unchemical romance. lol

(yeng dao arh....haha)
